“Scary” Cinema – “Witchboard”
All this month we are going to share some truly cheesy “scary” movies and posting them on Saturdays so you can enjoy them on a cold, dark spooky evening!
As of late, the cycle of horror movies has come back around to demon possession/poltergeist type movies. Back in the 1980’s, there were some as well such as “Prophecy”, “Warlock”, & of course “Witchboard”. “Witchboard” is a slang term for a Quija board, a device supposedly used to summon answers “from beyond the grave”. Tawny Kitaen (yes, the woman spread across the Jaguars in Whitesnake’s “Here I Go Again” video) stars in this creepy film that spawned several sequels. And she gets naked in it, I mean FULL bush & tittay action. The plot? Who cares, Tawny shows full Kitaen!

McDonald’s messed up big-time with what could have been a HUGE payday. This website originally showcased where you could buy the “Super-Limited” Szechuan sauce as talked about in season 3 of “Rick & Morty”. From the information now listed, they knew they f*cked up and are going to make amends for it apparently. I hope they use the same design as the “Super-Limited” packets, so those that spent upwards of $800-$2500 on eBay for a single packet of sauce & poster. I hope God strikes down those who are selling a PHOTO of a packet of sauce for 99c…

“Scary” Cinema – “Microwave Massacre”
All this month we are going to share some truly cheesy “scary” movies and posting them on Saturdays so you can enjoy them on a cold, dark spooky evening!
It wasn’t until the early 1980’s that microwave ovens really became a household phenomenon. There were a lot of cautions back then like making sure to keep a mug of water in the microwave in case it suddenly turns on, don’t start it with the door open (early models didn’t have a safety switch), and the old wives tale of the woman who nuked her poodle trying to dry its hair quickly.
This “gem” came out around 1983 to play on the fear of microwaves. Donald hated his wife’s cooking. She wasn’t a bad cook, always trying new gourmet recipes. Donald was a simple man and needed simple, easy grub. He eventually killed her in his rage and tried a little “wife du jour” in the microwave, which made him crave human flesh. As fucked up as this premise is, it’s even more fucked up to know that the actor playing Donald (Jackie Vernon) is also the voice of Frosty the Snowman in all of the cartoon incarnations of the 1970’s/1980’s.

Sunday Cinema – “Body Care and Grooming”
Since school has started around the country, the guys thought it would be appropriate to spotlight some educational films for the month of September. Driving to grooming, these educational films were often cheered by schoolchildren because movie-time meant no schoolwork-time!
As the poster writes in the description, kinda sexist educational film talking about ladies and their need to clean & groom themselves in order to get a guy.
