With school fast approaching (yea for parents!), the jokers at Junkiosity thought it might be fun to take a look at some old educational movies that we LOVED to watch back in school (we say LOVED because it meant we could either sleep or mess around with little intervention from the teachers). Some are sponsored by big corporations, others not-so-much.
Produced in 1987, this educational film came out when crack cocaine had become an epidemic across the country. Haunting images from movies like “New Jack City” showing people stoning out in alleys & abandoned buildings or offering to suck d*ck for it not only showed some truth, but also used it as a scare tactic.
Interesting to note that the boy in the movie went on to co-star in a few B-movies, ultimately leaving the acting world to become a teacher in California. Someone posted this online so that others can learn about the lie that is CRACK!
