Yet another 80’s toy cartoon, the popular puzzle game had its own cartoon show for a whole season before getting cancelled. I had no idea at the time how awkwardly ethnic this show was trying to portray. Starring Ron “Horshack” Palillo as the voice of Rubik, his “family” takes a trip down to Mexico to visit their Abuelita and has an adventure returning stolen toys before Christmas is ruined. Interesting to note that they production went so far as to have the popular Puerto Rican band Menudo record the theme song.

Yet another toy-related Christmas special that finds Glo Worm and his friends overhearing the “wicked witch of the North Pole” plotting to capture Santa Claus and ruin Christmas. The friends rally together to try and stop the witch and her plans in time to save Santa and Christmas.

A Family Circus was a staple of newspaper cartoon pages from the 1970’s through the early 1990’s that followed Mom/Dad/Billy/Dolly/PJ through their innocent look at life and its foibles. Their Christmas special finds the kids trying to be good before Christmas, searching for the star to place on the tree, & asking Santa to bring their Grand-Dad back from Heaven.

A popular toy-related cartoon from the 1980’s, this episode follows the gang as they leave the safety of the cabbage patch and enter the big city in search of the Christmas spirit. Of course they find the big city menacing and end up sharing the Christmas spirit with all.
