Taken from a concert in 2016, the Dropkick Murphys are an American Celtic punk band (!) from Massachusetts. Definitely a band to check out if you’re looking for “hooligan” and bar fight type music…

Dan the Man turned me on to Psychostick a few years ago and I’ve been a fan ever since. Earlier this year they streamed a whole concert from “space”, enjoy the entire stream of covers and original songs!

All this month on “Sunday Cinema” in celebration of Dan the Man’s birthday we are going to look at concerts from some of his favorite bands!

Great Big Sea is a Canadian folk rock band with twangs of Scottish, Irish, & Cornish influences. This concert was taken from one of their DVD releases and represents them well…

A classic 1980’s T&A flick about a guy’s journey to become a manager at a fast food restaurant (a parody of MocDonald’s) in order to get an inheritance of $250,000. Lots of sexual innuendo jokes, puerile humor, and plenty of bare chests, it has a lot going for it in addition to the 1980’s nostalgia. With stars such as Dick Butkus, Chuck McCann, & Randi Brooks, it’s a B-movie for sure but well worth the price of admission.

The film is in limbo as far as who owns the rights so it may never see a DVD or Blu-Ray release, someone posted their VHS copy online for all to enjoy!
