“The Love Boat” was another vignette show that came on the air in 1977 and lasted 10 seasons. Much like earlier shows of the 1970’s, each episode featured guest stars & contained 2 or 3 stories. This episode is from the first season and is entitled, “A Tasteful Affair/Oh, Dale!/The Main Event” and features the likes of Sherman Hemsley, LaWanda Page, John Ritter, Jaclyn Smith, and more.

Since February contains the “love” holiday, we thought we would share some “lovely” television episodes from years past…
“All My Children” was a daily soap opera that came on the air in 1970 and lasted until 2011. Although this is a partial episode, appropriately aired on February 14th in 1984 it showcases the wedding of 2 of its characters – Greg & Jenny. In a twist of soap opera fate, Jenny is killed a few episodes later in a jet ski explosion.
