Back in the mid-to-late 1980s rap music was becoming very mainstream to the point where it was being parodied. Comedian Rodney Dangerfield got into the rap game with his single, “Rappin’ Rodney” while Arsenio Hall created a whole separate persona. “Chunky A”, according to Wikipedia, was Arsenio’s overweight younger brother who had at one time been a roadie for Barry Manilow. He released a rap album entitled, “Large and in Charge” which reached #77 on the Billboard Hot 100, and the single “Owwww!” made it to #71 on the Billboard 200 chart.
